5280 Print Lab started the way a lot of small shops do - one printer in the corner of a Denver home, running late into the evening, making a cutter for a friend who couldn't find the right shape anywhere.
That's still roughly how it goes. Every design is drawn here. Every order gets printed after you place it, in the color you asked for, and checked by hand before it's packed. Nothing sits in a warehouse.
If something isn't right when it lands on your counter, tell us. We'd much rather reprint it than have you settle for it.

Questions we get a lot
How do I care for a 3D-printed cutter?
Hand-wash in warm - not hot - water with a little dish soap, then air dry. Skip the dishwasher and don't leave them anywhere hot, like a sunny car or next to the oven. Treated well, they'll outlast the cookies by years.
What are they printed from?
PLA, a plant-based plastic, printed at fine layer heights so the cutting edge stays sharp and the stamp detail stays crisp. We're happy to answer specific material questions before you order - just message us.
How long until my order ships?
Most in-shop sets go out in 3–5 business days. Custom ornaments depend on how fast we settle on the proof - usually about a week from first message to mailbox. Holiday season runs longer, and we post cutoff dates on the Etsy shop each November.
Can you make a shape you don't already sell?
Usually, yes - that's a good chunk of what we do. Send a sketch, a photo, or even a rough description through the custom order page. If it's something we can't do well, we'll tell you honestly rather than take the order.
Do you take bulk or wedding orders?
We do, and we like them. Favors, teacher gifts, church groups, office parties - send quantity and your date and we'll come back with pricing. Give us extra lead time for anything over about 25 pieces.
